DRESSING TABLE ESSENTIALS

Every so often, I come across a beauty product that changes my life. Tad dramatic, but it’s true. I’m sure we can all name a few superheroes that make us wonder how we coped before we discovered them.

Neal’s Yard Remedies Beauty Sleep Concentrate – £30
There’s something about the name ‘Beauty Sleep Concentrate’ that whisks me off to a faraway land, and encourages my belief in fairytales. I apply 3-4 pumps onto my face, and turn into Sleeping Beauty as the antioxidant-rich, divine-smelling formula works its magic. I wake up 100 years later (read the next day) with refreshed and revitalised skin.

Nude Perfect Facial Cleansing Oil – £28
This skin-enhancing wonder is infused with natural oils, and is free from parabens, sulphates and all of those other nasties. It’s perfect for all skin types; effectively reducing redness and eliminating impurities. And the best bit? Eye and face make-up (waterproof included!) comes off in one swipe, and so does pesky eyelash glue. Apply 2-3 pumps after washing and drying your face, then add warm water to form a light milk and rinse clean. Oh hi, silky soft skin.

Melvita Rose Nectar Fresh Micellar Water – £15
My Melvita shoutout has been a long time coming. I LOVE THIS BRAND! It’s perfect for girls on the go. Wild rose petal extract and rose floral water work harmoniously to cleanse the skin without stripping it of its natural moisture. This organic micelle-rich formula cleanses, tones and removes make-up. Now that’s what you call, 3-in-1!

Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick in ‘Asia’ 077 – £4.99
Nude is not only the second largest colour palette in my wardrobe, but also my everyday lip shade of choice. I have a range of lipsticks, lacquers, glosses and stains in various nudetastic shades, but this Rimmel beauty is one of my favourites. I recently rediscovered it after getting distracted in the supermarket (as you do). It’s rich in colour and rich in moisture with super staying power.

Nails Inc Polish in ‘Waterloo Place’ (part of the OMG! Collection) – £18.75
You can never have too many pink polishes. I own about 1.5 million and I need every one of them because they’re all different (promise). When it comes to pink shimmer, it’s all about the right consistency and finish. Please give a warm welcome to the newest addition to the pink family: Waterloo Place. A raspberry jelly-like formula with metallic flecks, perfect for feature nails and layering over other shades. Quick drying time, great consistency, great finish.

Love, Ms.Rae xo
