The weather at yesterday’s BAFTA’s was…well and truly British. Yep you guessed it, those dreaded drops of water that fall from the sky made an appearance. Rain on the red carpet isn’t the most ideal award ceremony situation, but did that stop the likes of Jessica Chastain and SJP from putting on a show? Of course not.
Ms.Chastain set pulses racing in an electrifying blue Roland Mouret number.
Two’s a charm with Amy. She showcased a swoon-worthy Marchesa gown at the Golden Globes, and in stole the show again with this lace Elie Saab wonder.
Ms.Hathaway looked superb in a studded Burberry gown. She sported a super pixie crop with a super chic gown. Perfection.
Sarah Jessica Parker
Fashion-forward SJP made a good call with an Elie Saab jumpsuit. She stood out from the crowd and was evidently warmer too. Her super sleek hair was styled with one of my dressing table favourites: Charles Worthington Finishing Touch Polish. This is my favourite awards hairstyle of the season *reaches for straighteners*.
Nothing brightens up a grey day like a splash of canary yellow. Madame Cotillard channelled SS13 chic in Christian Dior with a chic red lip to match.
Ms.Newton spiced things up in a Louis Vuitton halterneck gown worthy of a sophisticated Spanish señorita.
The dame caused quite a stir as she debuted a layered crop with a daring yet youthful pastel pink pixie crop by Jessie Knight (Senior Colourist at John Frieda). Can Madame Mirren put a foot wrong? Oh, and her dress is by the amazing Nicholas Oakwell.
Soaked hems never looked so good.
Love, Ms.Rae xo
