Apart from the Oscars and the Golden Globes, the Grammys is my most anticipated awards ceremony. I think it’s down to the whole upbeat vibe of the event (no pun intended). It’s the biggest music industry night of the year, and Sunday’s ceremony was a red carpet affair like no other.

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to accept my award for ‘Best Traditional R&B Performance’ in person as I have just begun the first leg of my world tour. I am so honoured to be recognised amongst the likes of Beyoncé and Anita Baker. To all my fans, thank you once again.

And the best dressed awards go to…

Mrs.Carter completely went against the grain in a monochrome Osman Yousefzada jumpsuit with a chic low pony to match. Could jumpsuits be the new red carpet trend?

The lady in red made a statement in Alaïa Couture. She also debuted romantically tousled ombré locks. New hair trend, ladies? I think so.

Jennifer Lopez
Ms. Lopez never disappoints when it comes to the sultry stakes – remember the green Versace number circa 2000?She set pulses racing again this year in an Anthony Vacerello dress. Would you just look at that mega thigh-high split!

Carrie Underwood
Carrie looked super classy in a strapless Roberto Cavalli gown. The delicate detailing draws attention to her lovely figure. Oh so flattering.

Solange Knowles
Solange went green in a stunning Ralph & Russo Couture gown. Call it structured perfection. Oh and those shoes! None other than SS13 Christian Louboutin. If emerald and coral didn’t work before, they certainly do now.

Taylor Swift
Taylor channelled Greek chic with a contemporary twist in J.Mendel. Effortless drapery, sequin detailing, and a whole lot of silk chiffon goodness. Absolutely divine.

The sultriest red carpet of the season? Agreed.

Love, Ms.Rae xo
