BANK HOLIDAY SHOPPING, ANYONE?

Happy Bank Holiday Monday to all of my British beauties, and happy (normal) Monday to all of my internationals. If only all weekends were 4 days long…*sigh*. It’s back to business tomorrow and I thought it’d be a nice idea to *drumroll* peruse the shops today. No surprise there.

Bank holidays are always the busiest commercial days for high street stores, simply because opening hours are longer and a lot of customers have the day off work. Back in my retail days I’d be torn between resting and working on a bank holiday – the possibility of double pay was VERY tempting. Nowadays, I’m torn between rolling around at home (aka resting) and shopping, and most of the time rolling around wins (hey PayPal).

Although online shopping is convenient, there’s nothing quite like a physical shopping experience. Leisurely browsing through the rails, finding the perfect item in your size, and being able to try things on (or just buying things and hoping for the best in my case).

I’ve got my flats on, and I’m ready to brave the bank holiday crowds.

P.S. If I can’t find these super SS13 babies in my size, I just might cry.
