acne studios resort 2017
Acne Studios’ 2017 Resort Collection tells a free-spirited story of fluid, soft, layered sensuality in a range of standout pieces with generously draped fabrics, and a variety of prints from tie-dye to oil-print.

A blue long sleeve cowl neck knee length dress sit to one side with a drape allowing the printed lining to fall into view. The oversized white blazer has underpinnings at the waist to create a skirted silhouette, whilst skirts have underlayers to create a historical feel. The tie-dye padded cape and the press-stud dress of orange and green dyed panels take inspiration from duvets, whereas lightweight block colour trenches add an essence of subtlety.

The white sheath dress is knotted loosely at the side, and sits pretty over the bleached out blouse with a faded psychedelic oil print. Knitwear dabbles with patterns including the sweatshirt with stripes reminiscent of TV interference, and dip-dye stripes featured on the ribbed sweater and the tank dress.

The trouser department welcomes a futuristic take on loose Fisherman’s Pants held together with a long white belt, and the contrasting panelled Motocross Pant that oozes shape and structure.

Sock sneakers return in tie-dye with an elevated version of the Swedish clog and its roughly stapled straps. Whilst dressy yet laidback heels are wrapped in fabric to really hone in on the fluid nature of the collection. To finish, the wearable leather bag with interchangeable wide straps in contrasting colours, trimmed with thick multicolour rope ties everything together.
