Summer is officially here in the UK (yes we’re late to the party but better late than never, hey).
If you fancy a break from the sweltering heat whilst still feeling like you’re not missing out on the summertime fun, take a stroll to Heliot Steakhouse to enjoy their new barbecue-inspired menu.
Executive Chef Ioannis Grammenos has cooked up a range of light and fresh dishes especially for the summer months. Starters include a beautifully balanced Sea Bass Ceviche with chilli, ginger and pickled pearl onions, and palette-pleasing Smoked salmon with crisp green apple, chargrilled sourdough toast and sour cream mousse.
For a meaty main, opt for the Grilled Spatchcock Chicken, served with sticky homemade BBQ sauce for dipping, or herby Lamb Cutlets with roasted aubergine and a rich jus gras. From the sea, enjoy their sublime (and Candy Rae certified) Lobster on skewers with a lemon and garlic crust, or a Grilled Mackerel fillet served with roasted baby courgettes, carrots and a creamy dill sauce.
To end with something sweet, try the decadent Chocolate Sphere, filled with a rich chocolate mousse, or a light Lemon crème brûlée tart with crumbly, flaky pastry and lemon curd ice cream.
After your meal, head up to the Hippodrome Casino’s stunning rooftop bar to catch the last of the sun’s rays. With bartenders on hand to serve an array of refreshing cocktails, you can truly make the most of a summer’s day.
