Cutting edge steak and liquor bar Hanger sw6 is bringing a taste of South America to South- West London with Rio 2016 in mind.
On Thursday 18th August 2016, the Fulham-based steakhouse and bar will offer a dining experience like no other featuring South American inspired dishes, complemented by an expertly chosen selection of the finest South American wines.
To start, enjoy a light and refreshing timeless Brazilian dish: Marinated sea bass ceviche, coupled with Pizzato Fausto Chardonnay, from the renowned Serra Gaucha region.
To follow, experience Hanger sw6’s South American twist on their classic hanger steaks. Choose between a charcoal grilled hanger steak with watercress and a creamy béarnaise sauce, or the most prized cut of Brazilian beef: the picanha steak, dressed in a zesty chimichurri. Mouth-watering Fire roasted sweet potato and Charred market vegetables accompany the steaks. Each steak dish has also been paired with two exquisite wines. Argentinian wine, El Estecco Estate Malbec, hailing from the Calchaquí Valley provides the perfect accompaniment to the picanha steak. Whilst the vibrant flavours of the charcoal grilled hanger steak is accentuated by a prime Chilean Syrah Reserva.
Prepare to be transported to the Rio coastline as atmospheric samba music plays in the background. A presentation on quality regional wines will also be on offer, by expert Victoria Briggs.
To round off the evening’s celebrations, indulge in a decadent Dulce de leche sundae mess, followed by an invitation to Hanger’s specialist downstairs liquor bar, Below The Cut, where guests can enjoy a soothing Nightcap cocktail.
The Brazilian inspired three course dining experience, including wine pairings and the Nightcap cocktail, will cost £42.50 per person.
